We are proud to announce the opening of a brand-new, state-of-the-art elementary school in the Sunterra housing community in Katy, Texas. Made possible by the support of the Royal ISD Bond 2023, this innovative educational facility is part of Royal ISD’s continued commitment to excellence in education and serving the needs of a growing community.

RPES opened in August 2025, welcoming approximately 400 students in grades Pre-K through 5th. The school is designed to foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.

We look forward to becoming a cornerstone of the Sunterra community and are excited to grow alongside the families and students we serve. Together, we will build a future rooted in learning, inclusion, and excellence.
