Good morning, Falcons. Weather forecasters are predicting severe winter weather beginning on Sunday, February 14. Conditions are anticipated to last until Tuesday, February 16.
Monday, February 15 is a Scheduled President’s Day student/staff holiday (no school for any students, virtual or face-to-face).
As always, the safety of our students, staff, and community is our highest priority. Royal will shift to virtual learning for ALL students on Tuesday, February 16. To ensure that all of our students are able to learn virtually on Tuesday, February 16, we are offering Chromebook pickup today (Friday, February 12) for students who are absent today and do not have their Chromebooks.
If your face-to-face student is absent today and needs a district Chromebook, please adhere to the following pickup schedule:
- If your face-to-face student is absent today, February 12 and does NOT have their Chromebook, you may pick up his/her device from the student’s home campus today at any time during regular school hours.
- If your face-to-face student is absent today, February 12 and does NOT have their Chromebook AND you are unable to pick up the device during regular school hours, we will have a drive-thru Chromebook checkout at Royal High School from 2:35 PM – 3:35 PM.
