Please watch the following videos from Superintendent Kershner (in English) and Dr. Guzman (in Spanish) to learn more about the bond proposal.

The bond proposal addresses capacity, new student growth, safety and security, and aging infrastructure. In making the decision to call the bond election, the RISD Board of Trustees considered community feedback and input from the Citizens’ Advisory Committee, a diverse group of local parents, non-parents, district staff, community leaders, and business owners. The bond will be split into three propositions, giving residents the opportunity to vote on three separate proposals and to choose the options that they feel best meet the needs of Royal ISD.
