Hello and welcome to Mrs. Divin's classroom!
I want to start by telling you a little bit about myself. I grew up in the little town of Orchard which is south of here on FM 1489. I attended Brazos High School and graduated in 2001. I then attended Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. I have a double major in English and International Studies. After graduating from TLU in 2005, I started working for Fort Bend County. I then started attending the University of Houston- Victoria to receive my teaching certificate. In 2006, I was hired by Brazos High School to teach English 2. I taught at Brazos from August 2007 to May 2009. In August of 2009, Royal ISD hired me as the ESL teacher for Royal High School. I have been very proud and excited to be part of the Royal community. Hola y bienvenidos a la clase de la señora de Divin!
Quiero empezar por decirles un poco sobre mí mismo. Crecí en el pequeño pueblo de Huerta que está al sur de aquí en FM 1489. Yo asistí a la Escuela Superior Brazos y se graduó en 2001. Luego asistió a Texas Lutheran University, en Seguin, Texas. Tengo una doble licenciatura en Inglés y Estudios Internacionales. Después de graduarse de la UGT en 2005, empecé a trabajar para el Condado de Fort Bend. Entonces comencé a asistir a la Universidad de Houston-Victoria para recibir mi certificado de enseñanza. En 2006, fui contratado por la Escuela Superior Brazos para enseñar Inglés 2. Me enseñó a Brazos de agosto de 2007 mayo de 2009. En agosto de 2009, Royal ISD me contrató como maestra de inglés de High School Royal. He estado muy orgullosos y emocionados de ser parte de la comunidad de Royal.
